Just before delivering a new body of work to Tinca Gallery, yesterday, I had just enough time to squeeze in a quick sketch.
Here it is covering the full width of my sketchbook and showing the view from Portishead to Porbury Dock at low tide. I've used a coloured pencil, charcoal and pastel and then lifted out with a putty rubber. If you're in the area, my new work will be on display from next week. Tinca Gallery's details can be found on my gallery page.
Two of my latest paintings currently on display at Bevere Gallery's Autumn Exhibition.
A Flood Remembered depicts two people gazing at the floods from Sabrina Bridge in Worcester.
September Turns and the Lock Keeper's Got Time to Text shows Bevere Lock towards the end of summer when the boat traffic begins to ease. Look carefully and you'll see the lock keeper leaning on the railings outside his office.
